THS Castros and enclosures in the border of León in the XII c. and XIII c.
This work deal with the complete analysis of a building system, conceived from the beginning as a system, chronological, typological and technologically bounded, which crosses Castilla y León completely from north to south, venturing into Extremadura along successive border lines agreed between the kingdoms of Leon and Castillla in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, and in some cases at the borders of Portugal.

The scientific characterization of this Territorial Heritage Systems (THS), part of the premises established for the recognition of systems and in this case specifically for the systems which have been named as Systems of Inherent Character, analyzing the common aspects of this set of 29 fortifications from the historical, typological and constructive point of view..
