ROECOVERY OF MOTA CASTLE DITCHS

With the results of previous studies carried out for La Mota Master Plan was proposed an ambitious work for recovering the over 12 feet deep ditches and unearth the castle restoring the damaged walls. The project involved draining all water accumulated in the ditch, the opening of shot holes of the lower galleries and the recovering of the bridges original system which allows the different accesses to the castle. Grouting work and cure treatment of the castle outside walls were executed by a methodological process designed for the conservation of the stratigraphic wall and the historical war injuries of the building.
It also committed grouting work and healthy factory brick exterior walls of the castle by a methodical process designed to preserve the wall stratigraphy and historical wounds of war the building.
