CASTLE-MONASTERY OF MONTEARAGÓN

The Spanish Association of Castles' Friends sponsored by the firm Leche El Castillo commissioned a multidisciplinary team led by the architect Fernando Cobos the drafting of the documentation and diagnosis work for this monument. Thanks to this work we had a greater comprehension of the building and the possibles solutions to its serious diseases. The work was created as the developement of the first phase of studio of a Master Plan which was submitted to the Mystery of Culture.
The ancient fortified abbey is one of the most important monuments of the Aragon Kingdom medieval history.
