RESTORATION TECHNOLOGIES

The implementation of restoration constructions, especially in very delicate situations, requires a continuous process of research and testing involving multidisciplinary teams of professionals and companies for their development.
The repair of the parapets of Fuensaldaña castle in 1998, was carried out without dismantling the structure, using replenishments with mortar and stitched with fiberglass piece by piece and was accompanied by a set of test of the solutions that were published.
The consideration of the hillside below the Monteagudo de las Vicarías castle in Soria used a retaining wall which constricts the slope in concrete piles and anchored in concrete and the land injection between the constrictor wall and the foundation of the building. Due to the danger of collapse tension and movement sensors were used in real-time that allowed to execute the work with security guarantees for workers and to check, with the help of subsurface exploration techniques, the effectiveness of the adopted solution.
