MONASTERY OF SANTA MARGARITA

Stage of documentation and diagnosis studies of the Master Plan.

Medieval monastery with successive construction stages and remains ranging from the Arab wall to the implementation of a nineteenth century military hospital. The study arises from the recognition of values, largely hidden, of the remains and spaces of the medieval monastery, of the feasibility study of uses depending on the respect of these values and the cultural activity and of historical research that develops as a centre of culture and military history of the Spanish army. They are labor of recognition of monumental values of a set declared BIC as previous definition of a pack of studies and interventions at an early stage will allow for rehabilitation of the building exposing its important architectural elements.
