Fernando Cobos lecture at the University of L'Aquila, Italy

On March 25th at 3pm the architect Fernando Cobos will give a lecture at the Faculty of Engineering of the Università Degli Studi dell'Aquila entitled as "The Castle of L'Aquila the engineer Escrivá and his influence in the Hispanic Crown Fortification". The lecture will focus on the technical values of this fortress and its Valencian engineer, Luis Escrivá, as regards of the fortifications that the Hispanic Crown made in all the territories which were under its control during the sixteenth century. This conference was scheduled on April 2009 but was suspended because of the terrible earthquake that took place in this Italian city a few days before.
